Green Campaign (28.04.2003) |
A deputy
of the Jurmala Town Council and a businessman Alexander Basharin
sponsors the planting of 2000 pine-trees in the dune zone of
Jurmala. Pupils from Jurmala, employees of “Inter Unico”, Ltd,
and “Jūrmalas Mežaparki”, Ltd, participate in the event. The
principal aim of the campaign is to increase the invaluable resources
of nature – pine-tree forests - and to pay the public’s attention
to their conservation, as well as to invite other businessmen
to follow Basharin’s example.
